My sister just sent me this, shows the aftermath of the ice storm which kept me and my sister in Seattle three extra days. She's back in Spain, showing it to her students. I can vouch that walking on the ice in flat areas was treacherous enough, but there are so many hills in Seattle and, yeah, this about sums it up. Seattleites (that a word?) aren't used to ice, and neither is this SoCal native. Posting it because it's kinda funny in parts.

My fave was the athleticism displayed by the guy who somehow stayed upright on his feet while sliding all the way down his driveway and across the street.
