Hey everyone, i'm 17, male, have been going to the gym 5x a week for over 2 years now, run about 25km a week, but my test is only 1.8 nmol/l. 8% body fat, so wtf. anyone had a similar experience? can't understand how my results are that low, and does anyone have experience with treating it in lithuania?

Hopefully some of the more knowledgeable guys will chime in in the morning.

My question, have you ever had it tested before this? Do you have a baseline?

nope, never. This is my first time doing actual bloodwork, wanted to get tested for diabetes and I thought why not do a hormone test too. Just contacted my psychiatrist about this, told me to see an endocrinologist

First, get it rechecked. 1.8 nmol = 52 ng/dl. That is almost castrate level. Make sure it is really 1.8 mmol. Something is clearly not right and an endo would probably be the best option to start.

Yup, will do, scheduled an appt with an endocrinologist for tomorrow. We will see I guess? Also mailed the lab about it too

I was lower, but I was much older than you and after 20 years of PED use.

First place I would look at would be diet. You are pretty lean, so did you diet yourself into oblivion? This can cause low test.

Did you use a bunch of stimulants? This can cause adrenal fatigue, which can also cause low test.

yeah, that actually could make sense. I was an idiot and ate around 2000 cals +- while doing cardio and all that, also didn't eat nearly any fat at all, diet consisted of v lean meat fruits and vegs and low fat dairy, currently trying to eat around 20% fat 30-35% protein and fill the rest with carbs for my diet at my estimated maintenance but thats probably too low too.
And yeah, i'm actually prescribed methylphenidate, concerta 54mg exactly, caffeine n nic too.

lab response, translated tldr: They repeated the tests, same results, recommend repeating the test in 2 weeks and describe the reasons this can occur(Hypogonadism etc.)

The calories are not low, but if you pretty much eliminated fat that can be a problem for testosterone. The human endocrine system requires fat to run efficiently.

For my natty athletes, I try and keep their fat intake when cutting between 50-75 g a day for as long as we can. I will eliminate carbohydrates and drop protein down to a gram per pound of bodyweight, but rarely ever take the fats below 50 g. When I do, it is for a short period of time.

This is why I never got my test levels checked, don't want to know. I've met people who were down and had high levels naturally, met people amazingly happy with low levels but didn't care.

Had one bud who was aging pretty fast, horrible sleep pattern, depressed, he went to dr got blood work and it was super high naturally. His response was 'well my life just sucks then' lol

Good luck to you man, hope you find your answers.
