I guess I am lucky my USPS is stellar. I live like 5 minute walk from it. So the post monsters know the addresses well. Amazon has been good as well. Oddest thing that happened on time is getting an order from vitamin shoppe and it was an empty flat open envelope.
Hope they enjoyed my astragalus!!

I often wonder if they open the boxes and are like… oh hell yeah, just needed some BCAA’s… or if they trash it…

All the time, multiple carriers. Got to the point that I would walk the floors of my complex to see if it was left at the wrong door, I have about a 50% find rate on that. There must be zero accountability for the screw ups for it to happen that often.

Known a few usps carriers, and there is varying, rather than, zero accountability.

They are pressured to get off the clock in 8 hours ... by whatever means necessary. If slowing down by seconds to match the address on each mail piece with the address on the mailbox, then don't do it.

True, there are veteran slobs present too, but the old Pro's who can't adapt are just hanging on till their chosen retirement time. Newer employees "get it," and will be what we are faced with until its death do us part from the usps.
