Good card.

Tom vs Gane is a great fight. I think as long as Tom does not get caught he has the grappling which Gane is not know for to win. I would love to see it stay on the feet but i get it. If Tom gets a TD it is because Gane hits HARD!

Virna vs Dern is a good match. Virna is a beast. So good at standup and TDs. I think Dern will end up getting taken down and maybe will pull a sub but Virna is too good. I see it going to decision for her. Never count out Dern with her toughness and BJJ skills

Umar vs Mario is a grapplers delight. Umar is a savage but just lost his first pro fight to Merab. Mario has better stand up and is a great BJJ fighter and wrestler. I love this match.

Volk vs JA Volk and JA are ranked guys trying to get a wildcard for a top tier fight. Winner will get a top guy. Volk was on a tear but lost vs Gane via split decision and JA's last loss was against Blaydes when he got caught but has two wins since vs tough guys. This is a banger.

Rakic vs AM , I think this match is a send off and last chance for Rakic who lost 3 in a row, granted to tough guys and AM is a KO guy who has never lost but has fought journeymen, This is a step up, will Rakic play gatekeeper or will AM break on in? I don't know.

Well that was anticlimactic. Gane did a double eye poke on Tom who was never hurt but was not getting the better of the exchanges. Hope they book it again.

Dern vs Virna. First, damn, Dern at the weigh ins....whew she is smokin. Anyway. Dern worked harder. Virna is legit but just did not do enough on the ground. Judges finally realize that control is not fighting. Dern threw strikes off her back and elbows too. Virna will have a sore top of her head tomorrow.

Umar vs Mario. Compelling fight even though Umar is boring as hell. Mario made it a fight, never giving up from his back. But Umar won. Mario did crack him with a knee, if it had been flush the fight would have been over.

Volk vs Almeida. Almeida got TDs at will but did NOTHING with them. I think he threw 2 strikes the whole first round. Volk worked from his back and got the win. Again judges score strikes over lay and pray.

Az vs Rakic looked like a miss match. Rakic is big muscled up cut guy and Az is a little soft and smaller. But Az hits like a dump truck. One short shot and Rakic was OUT!

Quil vs Naz wow, Quil threw low kicks and then went high over Naz's guard. Holy shit what a strike. Naz will have people two generations down the line with head aches.
