Islam is on a 14 win streak. He got KO'd by a guy back in 2015 who has only won 1 fight since then and is not in the UFC anymore. Fluke. Islam can strike at will as he is the top tier grappler. He has gotten TKO/KO in 2 of his last 4 and 2 subs in that time as well. Armen has 25 fights and 3 losses. 1 KO/TKO and 2 decisions. He lost to Islam back in 2019 and wants revenge. Careful what you ask for as Islam is a huge fav. This will be a grappling heavy fight i assume. Both guys can wrestle but Islam is by far better. Armen is the better striker but not by much these days. LW Champ fight
Merab vs Umar - Merab is the champ. He has not lost since 2018 and is a control fighter. Some might say boring as hell, that is me saying that. He is a pressure wrestler and in 19 wins he has just 4 finishes. Umar is undefeated and at least has a 50% finish rate. Honestly bros, I could care less. Umar is the more exiting fighter as he takes chances to get subs. Both guys will throw hands but are not nearly as effective as a true striker or even Islam. I will watch it as it will be two of the more powerful P4P grapplers in the UFC. I will root for Umar as I dislike Merab and his boring ass fighting style. Bantam weight champ fight
Jiri vs Hill Former champs both of them. Both guys won the strap them lost it against Pereira, one and done. Both guys want another shot at it. Both guys are top of the heap but Alex is diff level. This is a great striking match up. Jiri is am unorthodox striker with strange angles and hands down technique. He will grapple too. Jamal is a guy who picks his shots and is comfy on the attack or countering. Jiri has a better finish rate with only 1 win coming by decision. This may be FOTN on the main card.
Beneil vs Renato Very interesting fight here. Beneil is a wrestler with fairly heavy hands but he would rather sub you than strike. Renato is a sub ace who is fine on his back and will throw up subs one after another and is on a 4 fight win streak with only one going the distance. Beneil has lost 2 in a row to KO/TKO. Very interesting fight.
Holland vs RDR is a great match up. Hollands is a striker with legit BJJ skills but RDR is a BJJ smasher. Holland has 1 win via sub and 3 losses in his last 4. RDR is 50% in 4. Two TKO/KO losses and a TKO win as well as a sub win. I like this match up. This made it on the main card just because it will be fun I think.
the prelims have some fun guys too. Almeida who is a striking tank. J Walker who either wins by tko/Ko or takes one and more.
