OK, I have to admit when I saw Netflix was producing this fight I was hesitant to even watch. The 1sst match ended, it was absolutely horrible. I have been involved with the sport and watched boxing for 50 years and have never heard such horrible announcers. As for the production, I spent more time watching lag that the whole 6 rounds of the 1st match. Most likely I am going to turn this mess off as I just can't take any more of this shit show put on by Netflix. Right now the picture is lagging but the sound is still going. Now all of it is gone. Pathetic. I am out. Over to spend the rest of the night watching wrestling.
I think it got better because a lot of people bailed like you did. That was a real black eye for NetShits.

I heard this morning on the news that Netflix was going to have a NFL game on (Christmas Day?). No way, I am watching another sporting event on Netflix. At least Amazon Prime can do Thursday night NFL with no buffering issues. Yea, real blackeye for Netflix. Not like they needed another one....

Actually, Prime had a small buffering issue with their first NFL game. You think NetShits would have seen that coming so that makes it even worse.

I'm getting tired of having to pay 5 different places to watch sports.

I tried watching the replay of the fight but I have to go through 3+ hrs of ads and undercards to get to it. I tried to fast forward it but when I would get through the first 3 hrs. and hit play it would go right back to where I started the ff. Are you guys experiencing the same thing?

I boxed up to the amateur level, and that night I saw countless slips into PULLED hooks, crosses, and lack of uppercuts.

Jake was WIDE OPEN after a million slow jabs, hooks, and crosses.

Tyson made me say "wait, what the hell" a bunch of times. I respect him getting 20mil for his family, though.

Tyson has probably not lost much power but what you do loose with age is your ability to react, Hand eye coordination, and timing. All more important than power in boxing and fighting. Tyson, timed out of these.

Yes, Saturday morning I had the same issue and just gave up.

Go watch it in slow motion. Even in the 1st round he refused to do a hook in his signature slip and hook.

The 3 episode series they had was the old Tyson. That fight was nothing like he was doing in training.

All sports coaches say, You perform the way you practice. That wasn't the case here for some reason.

On the series he was training like a mad dog. During the fight, he looked like he was trying to breath under water after the second 2 min round.

I remember reaching out to one of my closest friends growing up who won a ton of college awards and had something like 450 carries in his last year in college and played in the NFL for a couple years. (Seeing him score a TD was a personal highlight of mine) and asking him what he thought of playing in those leagues and he said “they are fun if you don’t mind being worried about an ex-con trying to level you on the backside of every play.” He said he could never even mess around with that stuff because as soon as people found out who he was they’d act like it was the Super Bowl and try and hurt me.

I mean looking at him other than being muscular he was barely 6 feet a little over 200 pounds you’d never know he was a former NFL running back. There’s a scene in the movie “little children” with flag football that really rings this home. I remember playing in a flag football league not long after college with some buddies and the guy on the other side had through he put together a superstar flag football team. first game of the season the third or fourth play of the game I dropped back and took an INT back the whole length of the field and I was on a strict 12 ounce curl program at the time and the kid fully melted down to the point half his team left…

He's not wrong. I played OLB and the other OLB on my team played at FSU and 4 years in the league, and then the orignal XFL....and no he is not He Hate Me.

Every team we went up against wanted a shot against the guy who played in the league to see how they matched up. Most didnt fare well lol.

The hardest I have every been hit in my life was by this guy. Full back ran a dive up with middle on a short yardage play, and me and Mr NFL converged on him and collided full speed helmet to helmet as he was going down. I was out on my feet seeing stars for the next few plays just hoping it didn't come my way. Completely on queer street. It took like 10 beers that night to drink off the concussion haha. He popped up and carried on like nothing happened...
