Tuna burgers

2 cans tuna in water( drained)
2 egg whites beaten
1/2 cup of chopped onions
1/2 pack of saltine crackers (I use the lower sodium variety) crushed up
salt and pepper to taste

Mix all together in bowl , then form as big or as little burgers by hand as you want. In a frying pan spray with Pam or olive oil spray . Place burgers in pan cook until golden brown on one side and flip and cook til golden brown on other side.
Eat em up

Sub the saltine crackers with Almond meal and you got basically no-carb tuna burgers.

How do these hold together while cooking? They sturdy enough for a BBQ?

I was wondering that too, you can make them before hand and put them in the fridge to firm them up, or put some tinfoil down on the grill.

I think I'll try these for lunch today cuz I'm doing low carb...think I'll add some crushed red pepper tho...that's what I do for ground turkey to give it a little pop
