Draining the swamp to be replaced by New Presidents friends. Typical M.O. of D.C.
O Bummer and Biden brought in his Wall Steet friends , the Bushes brought in their military industry complex friends and Trump brings in his Technocratic friends. Same show different players.

I did not mention Clinton because everyone was his friend during his tenure including many Republicans that got rich off his schemes.

Power corrupts. Imagine this.. A man, born with imperfections and faults is given enormous power. Yet expected to act without concern for #1. How likely is this outcome?

This is why I am against concentrated power. No matter who holds it. The libs love their powerful bureaucracies. The Conservatives love their powerful men. The libs will give power to institutions. The conservatives give power to individual men.

A good, decent man wants no authority over other men.

In fact, the very fact that a man runs for president is an indication that he is corrupt. He is essentially telling 330 million people that is wiser and smarter than everyone else. Follow me, you helpless lowly sheep. I will lead you to the promised land.

(edit: couldn't help but notice that Elon just helped himself to a nice little 400 million dollar government contract.)

It’s ALWAYS the 360lb lardass who NEVER lifts, sits at home 100% of the time in his underwear, on the dark web memorizing the diatribes of other wackos who ALL know EVERYTHING about ANYTHING, who uses absolutes to try and sound intelligent and all-knowing.

And then we have the wisemen of the board, giving measured and thoughtful responses.

And then you have guys like littleguy and me, who could stop and give a measured response but would so much rather meet up at a Waffle House.
In for waffle house!!

Reading the article, I cannot tell of the award is on hold or not but those cybertrucks are fucking junk, I know 2 guys personally that bought them and think they got fucked.
The armored part may be good or great but the electric part and the drivetrain needs a hell of alot of work before I myself would use one as a state dept vehicle in a hostile country.
$400 million is a drop in the bucket for these guys, I heard there is a contract out there for tranny pubic hair coloring and "beaver barbers" for 900 TRILLION still to be unfunded LOL in Paraguay much less.
Paul Mitchell I think got the contract

I have begun to hate battery powered cars. They destroy more of the environment than just burning gas. What the hell is keeping hydrogen power from happening faster! The earth is 2/3 water. Hydrogen is more abundant than anything else in the universe. When it burns, it produces water.

I'm ambivalent at best about EVs.

I've always wondered why passenger vehicles aren't made to run on natural gas. In my city fleet vehicles and buses run on natural gas, so they can't be so unsafe to be prohibited from being on the road. Natural gas burns clean, and is very cheap. My guess is that it's not as energy dense as petroleum, resulting in us having to fill our tanks more often. But I'd love to read an article talking about the pros/cons of such a solution.

Big oil. It's impact is almost bigger than the dollar. They will have to figure out a way to tax the shit out of hydrogen like they do gas to launder the tax payers money.
Speaking of oil, when are my gas and energy prices going to drop.

Well I remember in the past 30 years everytime there was an incident in the middle east oil prices would jump before there wasn't any actual effect on oil production. So the opposite should be the same as when Trump says drill baby drill the prices should go down. LOL.
I voted for Trump and support a lot of things he's TRYING to do, but he's said some really stupid shit that takes away from alot of shit. Fking talking about America taking over GAZA and building condos, not banning TikTok or deep seek just to name a few plus the heartless statement he made after the crash of the helicopter about the cause being DEI which of course was particularly true but that wasn't the time to say it.
I hope he gets the economy rolling because if he loses the house the last 2 years are over for him. Maybe sooner if the government takes him out.
