This week is my recovery week for running, so the km's will be lower to allow my system to absorb the previous weeks as well as letting my immune system and CNS to not become compromised. I've only ran a couple of times so far this week, this afternoon I'll hopefully head out for around 1.5hrs then tomorrow I'll do an easy long run, probably 30-35km.

Have started taking a 100% pure blackcurrant powder, I'm taking 2 x teaspoons a day. One in the morning over my oats or muesli and the second serving I'm adding to my protein shake (usually have this post run).

Last night we had takeaways so I had my favourite from our local vegan restaurant, spicey mushroom balls, veges, cashew nuts and coconut rice.

I've also started taking these two supplements to help recovery from all of the running...

Can't be doing me any harm, especially as I'm no spring chicken anymore lol.

Hey bud. I hope you are getting back into shape for running! Why less running this week?

I really feel like I am, thanks! This week was always a planned easy/lower mileage week. I think for me five good, hard weeks into the legs and then a week that just comprises of mainly recovery-style runs is going to (hopefully) allow optimal adaptation whilst minimising injury risk.

You knocked me off my chair when I read about your 'secret' this morning lol, good for you man.

Thanks for explaining your training. I ran 5k cross country in university and loved it. The longest run I ever took was 14 miles (more than double my norm at the time) and it was very good. But my true fav sport has always been BBing. After I bulked up I have just been too heavy to run more than sprints.

Were you surprised to read my tell all post??? Do you mean you never suspected anything in the past year? Well truth is, I never explained my AAS use on MD because I had always advocated for training all nattie until you reached your max nattie potential. After all, why take the risks of AAS if you hadn't maxxed out all nattie? Well, I definitely maxxed out all nattie, because my muscle gain in my last year all nattie couldn't have been more than 1lb or maybe 2lb total, with about 30lb of fat gain on top. That is what decided me to try AAS. Now I am doing it, I wish I had started the AAS 20 years ago.
