Same here, Bhasin's studies showed that 125 mg/wk, at day 7 had blood levels about 500 - 600. Having said that, everyone is different. Some guys do really well at 500, at my age 1000 makes me feel like 500 did when I was younger. Funny thing is, older guys are supposed to metabolize T slower, thus require lower dosing (Bhasin's studies).Have you had your blood test on this dose? what are you at day 10? 150mg a week put me at around 700 at day 7.

300 mg/wk at day 7, total T is about 1350, so 200/wk would likely yield about 1000 at day 7 and probably about 1500 right after the injection. The SHBG lowering effect occurs at about 300 mg/wk, there would probably be a little decrease in SHBG at 200 but the difference in the % free is only about 1% going from 125/wk to 300/wk to 600/wk. Really not that much. Interestingly in older guys, SHBG didn't change in response to dosing from 25 to 600 mg/wk. In older guys the % free was slightly greater as the total dose was increased. Also older guys vs younger, the same total weekly dose of T yielded about 1.4 - 1.5 higher total T blood levels in older guys. But again, you have to test this based on your metabolism of the drug. The other question is, do you notice a difference with a T at 1000 vs 700, if not no need to waste the T. You're just driving up Hb and HCT without any additional benefits. If I do 120 a week and get in the 800s will 200 mg a week place me over a thousand? I hear maybe it will be like doing 120 since it lowers shbg.

Thank you. The doctor had put me on 200 weekly but I didn't want to go that high until now doing 200 for the first time and see if I feel better and better gains.300 mg/wk at day 7, total T is about 1350, so 200/wk would likely yield about 1000 at day 7 and probably about 1500 right after the injection.
