Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to fully heal?

Biggest thing is, is it a full tear? Both heads? Dependent upon if surgery is necessary, you might be suprised how quickly things return. A lot depends on what tore and to what extent. A muscle tear is significantly different than a tendon or ligament tear. And then you factor in if it's a muscle tear and to what extent. Definitely, chime in and maybe we can help you out a bit getting a ball park figure on a time table.
