Tom Platz can keep his crazy ass leg routines lmao. I've grown my legs well without his craziness. His legs are remarkable, but I don't want mine like that. I am pretty happy with my size. All of his stuff is great, nonetheless. I agree with the scientist's recommendation. We all need different training and adapt differently. Hell, I don't even squat anymore. I haven't in years and my legs are still pretty solid.

Arnold Schwarznegger's opinion of Tom Platz and his legs may differ a bit from yours. In his The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding, Arnold discusses or mentions Platz on 40 different pages. I think he too thought Tom was a bit eccentric, but he clearly respected his discipline and dedication to training.

I think the most important thing that anyone can do for their training is learn from all but find what works best for you.
Can't disagree with that. I would never knock Tom, he is the King of legs and always will be. Respect that guy immensely

I'm 100% sure Tom plays is a generic freak when it comes to his legs. Exercise physiology may say his routine is not technically the most efficient way to build legs like that but Damn sure he has quads like no other in his day and very few even today.

Considering he is still training years beyond many others shows he did something right even if science says otherwise.

Always been a fan of platz.
