To hcg or not...

Everyone's feedback who's been, or is, on trt. Do you also use hcg or not? Why? If so, how much? If not, why?

I’ve never used it. I do know one guy that went to a mens clinic & they actually put him on it. Tbh I don’t understand why they prescribed it to him unless it’s just to pad the bill.

I use it. It makes me feel better and increases my libido. I don't have a set schedule but usually go through a 5000iu vial every three months or so. I do my TRT injections every three days, so follow those up with around 250iu HCG until the vial is empty.

500 IU 2x/wk. LH doesn't just increase T (other hormones and neurosteroids) and it keeps the nuts intact. Always feel better on HCG.

The only downside to using HCG along with test for TRT or HCG monotherapy, it can also raise estrogen. I have observed guys who can run 500 mg of test a week without an AI, but TRT plus 500 iu of HCG pushes their estrogen over 100. Why? I have no idea, but it is more common than you think.

1000-1500 wk gets my nuts out of my stomach and loads are much healthier. I'm taking 200mg test c and 100mg mast also

My E2 is about 100 when my T is about 1000, only the past few years, before that under 40 pg/ml even with HCG. Have no idea why and everything else has been the same, just age. Only time E2 was really low was on anastrozole 1/2 tab every 3 days, pushed it to single digits and felt like shit, and when I tried primo (50 mg/wk) along with HRT, cut it to 50 and still did not feel as good as when it was 100. No Sx so I don't mess with it given my T in the 800 - 1200 range.

yes ill always keep it on hand and shoot 5000iu in 1 shot every couple of months or whenever my nuts start to disappear.

not very scientific but seems to keep the load volume up and libido strong

That is interesting. My first thought would be bodyfat increase. However, could also just be a change in what is binding, aromatizing and converting to DHT.

Admittedly, I should use it more often. After being on TRT for years it certainly helps to use 500iu of hcg for libido and overall well being. As far as how often? You’ll probably have to adjust accordingly for yourself.

I have to be on record here at TID (and elsewhere) following up the good work that Shine (RIP my friend) always tried to do, which is preaching the multitude of benefits that HcG use provides even if you don’t want kids or care about your nut size. Powerful precursor and neurotransmitter that turns on pathways in the HPTA that are other wise dormant, resulting in mood enhancement, sexual enhancement, gains in the gym, skin/eyes/hair improvement, etc.

Just do it.
