Cross (a detective show) on Prime is really good. Very well written and acted.

Finally finished the 2nd season of Reacher. I liked it just like the first season. I can't wait for season 3.....never get tired of this type of show. Some of the lines werer pretty damn funny too.

Lioness has two seasons on Amazon Prime. Quite good stuff. CIA/black ops type series.
I just finished the second season. It is pretty good, but I have a really hard time watching these shows having an extensive combat background and brief 3 letter agency background. I understand Hollywood has to spice these things up, but sometimes I wonder who the hell their advisers are.

Agreed. It was excellent. Looking forward to a second season. The Cross character is good, and I also like his partner. I hope he gets a decent storyline in the next season.

Yeah writing is the key. I think the stories are based on a series of books. Those usually have good plots.

I am binge watching Joe Pickett. Love this show!

Finished up with Line Of Duty. (Good luck trying to predict the twists and turns of this show)

1883 was perhaps one of the best miniseries I've ever watched. It pulled me in... great writing, excellent characters, good acting. It really helped me better understand just how dangerous the trek out to Oregon was for settlers in that time frame.

I compare it to Band of Brothers. Obviously, totally different story, but both pulled me in and gave me a glimpse of the actual experiences of settlers in 1880s and soldiers in WWII Europe.

Been a member since 2004. Canceled yesterday. 26 bucks a month have enjoyed a lot on there over the years.
Not worth it now for sure.

Currently have paramount showtime for 59 a year. Huge star trek junkie.
Cancelled hulu as they were charging 110 a month up from 75 a few years ago just kept raising prices with no benefits. Tubi is good but lately ads are crazy. Prime is free based on prime membership. Not paying extra 3 a month for no ads. Got a digital antenna and it has a 1200 mile radius over a thousand channels in HD for $40.

Two more shows I enjoyed recently were Old man and The Night Agent

The Night Manager was good, as was the The Fall. And the Killing.

Chance was excellent. I watched it twice.

Back to watching Sons of Anarchy too. My wife is out of town. When she is gone I'll watch a few episodes, because usually we watch tv together. But she can't tolerate the extreme violence, which I love. When she is gone, I watch it.
