Still going slack ass in here. I did the deadlift and squat workouts last week but missed the press workout. Nothing exciting because the weights were still fairly light. I have replaced my gym workouts with work related movements of heavy bullshit. I was lugging around some 300 pound nitrogen bottles all day cause my supervisor is a dick :D

Today I decided to just lift for fun. No numbers to hit, no program, just went with what I felt like doing. Turned out pretty good:

August 15, 2017- Doing what I want
Weight: Probably still fat

Deadlifts
135x8
225x8
315x5
365x5
405x3
455x1 vid
495x1 vid
545x1 vid

Press
45x10
95x10
135x7
185x3
205x3 vid
185x5
135x7

Front Squats
1355
185x5
225x5
245x5
225x5
185x5
185x5
135x7
95x14

Chin-ups
BWx5, 5, 5, 5, 7

Not too bad for having no real plan other than to have some fun and sweat everywhere :D
The 545 deadlift was everything I had. I am pretty sure another 10 pounds on that bar would have meant the bar never got to lockout.
Press was good but I wasnt going any heavier. I thought the 205 was going to be a tough single or double but it went up so easy on those first two reps I went for the third.... third rep was not so easy.
Front squats were good too. They were really clicking today so I did a lot of sets.
Chin-ups sucked because I am fat and cannot move my own fat body up and down for more than 7 reps lol.

Thanks ITAWOLF. My shoulder seems to be back to normal. I think it was just a strain from doing shit at work at awkward angles that are not good for the shoulders.

August 17, 2017- Still doing my own thing
Weight: Between 220 and 240 pounds

Benchpress
45x10
95x10
135x8

Wide-grip Pullups

Incline Benchpress

135x10

DB Rows
45x12
65x12
85x10
105x10
105x10
105x10

Not bad at all. Benchpress was not as strong but I think this had more to do with the fact that I worked shoulders and back pretty hard two days ago and I am still feeling that one a little :D
Pullups still suck because I am still fat. I cannot tell you how fat because my scale read 221, 239, 235, 228 and 236 lol.
Incline bench was great. DB rows were good but I cannot go heavier than 105 without sacrificing a lot of range of motion(due to size of the DBs).

Do you ever include low weight internal and external rotation for your shoulders? They are a great preventative.

Sorry if I missed it mentioned.

Mostly external rotations. I do not log that in very often but it is how I start and end any workout where i am pushing something heavy

It was 105 degrees and more humid than the Devil's nutsack. But I was fairly pleased with myself for this one. I was expecting to have trouble on the 315 set since it has been a while since I have gotten decent squatting in, but even 365 was not that difficult. Only reason I stopped is form was starting to slip.
Goodmornings were good but I kept them really light. They stretched and hammered the hammies pretty good for only having 135 on the bar. Shrugs and curls were thrown in cause I want to put some focus on these two lagging areas.

Alright, I got some excuses to make here so bear with me. I have managed to get in two workouts between the 18th and today. Today was the 3rd workout in 11 days. I am still not able to consistently get in the gym but I am trying to make each of the workouts "count for more". On the 22nd I threw benchpress, deadlift, and upper back together but I was at a commercial gym that a buddy invited me to and I left the notebook at home so I forgot what I did exactly lol. The highlights of that workout was a 315x4 benchpress and 3 singles on deadlift with 555.

On the 27th, I did skwats, front skwatz, and goodmornings. Only real highlights were a 315x8 squat and 275x5 front squat. Goodmornings were light and in the 15+ rep range.

I know this looks more along the lines of a bodybuilding workout.... and that is because it kind of is. No, you are never gonna see me in a thing on stage, but I am going to be putting more effort into building muscle mass, especially in the shoulders, traps, legs, and biceps. Right now the shoulders, traps, and biceps are feeling swole as fuuuuuuuuuck :D
