So 109 isn't excessive, but 110 is?

Haha. NOAA labeled 93 as hot here, but the following two days where it is 97 it didn't label them as hot.

How humid is it? I don't think I saw it listed.

It's not the heat, it's the humidity! Fortunately, very low, right now about 107 at 13%. Monsoon season ramps up the humidity later in the month, but nothing like many places in the country (hopefully). I'm in the southwest right now.

Jeez...

I spent two weeks in the Vail, CO area for work less than a month ago and it was beautiful. 50s during the day and 30s at night. It would snow when driving over the mountain passes... I even got to visit Independance Pass and throw a snowball which made my kids exceedingly jealous.

Then I come back to Texas and it was 105-110.

Can I go back??

Brutal as always here in Tampa. 94 degrees and 75% humidity, and that's lower than the normal humidity. You go outside for 5 minutes your fucking drenched in sweat.
Good for the business I'm in though. (HVAC)

My apartment management company refused to reopen the indoor pool after closing it down during the “pandemic”.
My solution cost about $25 for the pool and $12 for a 4’x8’ sheet of styrofoam insulation.
I don’t think they even know it’s back there.
I’m 6ft tall, 215lbs and the pool diameter is only 5’6”.
Picture your huge ass in that little pool.

I feel your pain! Since the 1st day of June we have had over 30 days of 100+ weather here. We also have humidity that is so high all day long that our window stay fogged up. It 5pm the temperature here is 101 with a 125 heat index. It like walking into hell when you open the front door. This morning at 4am when I got up with was 84 degrees with a 94% humidity.

I spent the summer in the tiny town of Searchlight, NV a couple years ago and it would get well above 120 degrees often with high winds that would suck the water right out of you.
It was so hot my skin would burn even in the dark there.
And I lost so much salt training in the desert that I started having seizures.
