Wow I didn't know that. I never tested during that time though. I figured testosterone is what they are looking for and if it's not test, it's not showing up. Now I could see some compounds freeing up more available testosterone.
It cross reacts way more than the lit suggests, perhaps newer assays that are less specific. LC/MS-MS will get around that but, most docs just run a standard cheaper assay. Best to drop the ND for 4 - 6 weeks and run only Mast and/or Primo and just enough T to keep you in the low end of normal. It is a chess game. At some point I wouldn't be surprised if they start running a AAS screen along with rec drug screens before prescribing T for HRT.

So the end game is to get scripted for TRT? If so, I think there's a few flies in your ointment.

First issue would be that 100 mg of test per week is going to have your TT at about 500 ng/dL. That would not put in the low T range.
Second problem is, if you crash your testosterone, your LH and FSH will come back almost undetectable since the bio-loop hasn't kicked in and that's a red flag to a Dr. Even if you can somehow time it perfect, it's not 2005 anymore, your GP will want another test 3 months later. That's even assuming he would script you in the first place.
Perhaps enclomifene would be the solution to the LH/FSH. In the end, you have to come up with a plan using outside labs that works for you because everyone is different.

Correct. With the LC/MS-MS I don't think the ND will show up as test. This is what I pull each time I go in and have about 20 sets of labs over the last three years and have always been on a TRT+ or on full cycle. Either running mast, primo, anavar, winstrol, anadrol or tren or combinations of each and they only thing they impact is free test.

GC/MS typically derivatizes the steroids and analyzes them as volatile trimethysilyl or tert-butyldimethylsilyl ethers. So the masses and fragmentation patterns are different and migrate differently on the column prior to entering the mass analyzer.
