As we step into 2026, I'm sure your plan is set.

Not just resolutions, but real goals.

Are you planning a massing phase, a cutting phase, a health phase, or just aiming to optimize your long-term health?

Here is to a year of strength, discipline, and progress.

Now, tell me about your 2026 game plan...

I don't believe in resolutions made one day a year. Specially in fitness. I think your heart has to truly be in it or you won't succeed. While I was out of shape I know I could get back with some effort BUT I also know I didn't want it enough yet to put in the work. I had other things more important. Coming in new year and saying I made a change would have just been words. You have to make the change inside and that is more than just flipping a switch on new years. At least for me it was.

As for plans. I do have plans. #1) 12%bf and a close, #2) strength. I have a few strength goals that might be more than a year away but I want to get as close as I can in 2026.

I plan on a health/massing phase if thats even possible. Currently sitting at around 200# no Idea on my BF %. However the plan is to put muscle on and stay lean. I want to bulk, but do a clean bulk.

I know my downfall is tracking macros. I suck at it. I probably need to get an app to track that shit. If I can end the year at 215-220 I would be super happy with that. A 1.25-1.65 pounds gained a month. We shall see!

6-8 oz of meat x6 meals will easily be 250-300 grams of protein

2 cups of rice is almost 100g carbs

1 cup of oats is around 50g carbs

2 whole eggs is 10 grams of fat and 12g protein

1 bagel is 50g of carbs

Aim for 4200 mg of fish oil daily (42 fats)

I follow the Justin Harris (pick it / kill it/ grow it) for nutrition choices (whole food) and adjust my carbs and fats depending on my goals. I can easily eat 4-5k cals when growing off these foods and get absolutely shredded when slowly dropping my carbs and fats to around 2-3k cals. I promise if you stick to the (P/K/G) approach tracking will be a breeze and you’ll be able to move from growing/ holding/cutting with no issues

Yep. Pushed up to 6100 calories on the kill it, pick it, grow it for the second growth phase and stayed at 242 lbs for 6 weeks. Didn't budge, but composition improved!

Health phase right now, so back down to 4500 calories. Dropped to 234 lbs for a week then slowly climbed back to 238 lbs and holding steady. Health phase until mid-February then I will assess what I need to do.

I still haven't decided if I am going to get back on the National stage this year. I was 5th this last year and the first 3 guys ahead of me all earned their pro card at that show, so you can say I would be stupid not too, but I need to grow my back and it is by far the hardest body part to grow due to its complexity. I know I can get it done. I was told I had a shitty chest and arms the year prior and told this last summer they are some of my best features. Haha. I know how to grow tissue. Time is the problem.

I also want to step on stage as a SHW and not like most of those I see who should be HW, but just didn't diet down. No, I want to be 225+ lbs and absolutely inside out peeled. I was 209 lbs this summer in the best condition I have ever been, so it is not far away.

This looks like a solid approach to my problem! Thanks for sharing Synergy. I will look into Justin Harris, does he do a channel on YouTube?

Justin owns Tropinin Nutrition and also has a YouTube channel. Most of his content I found when I was utilizing DC Training (Dogg Crapp) by the OG Dante Trudel. I’ve done DC many times and use the same principles to this day but don’t specificly use the same programming. (Split). Justin and Steve Kuclo trained under Dante as well as the freak Dusty Hanshaw.

Looking to gain 5-7 pounds of lean mass this year. In doing so I want to improve my lats. As my waist is wide I need to improve width across the shoulders to improve my taper.

May even prep for a show in the fall

Working to get to single digit BF, get a sick tan at the pool all summer, and then bulk October and into 2027.
