Got my acceptance letter too. Went down to my college and am working on getting everything taken care of.

Going to up my test to help with mental acuity and also thinking of trying some nutropics to also help in that area.

Weather has been extremely shitty. Wet, cold, and everyone's getting sick. Don't know if I'll squat today or not. We'll see. Next week is my warm up and the week after is test week.

Went to the school and found out I had to apply to the other campus even though my school acquired the other campus. The schools aren't consolidated yet so I had to re-apply for admittance for the other campus. I wouldn't be pissed about it if registration hadn't already started. I planned on taking 3 classes in the spring, 1 or 2 in the summer, and then 3 or 4 in the fall. Now, I'll have to wait and see what I'm able to take this spring. I have pre-req's that I have to take before getting into the nursing program. So, all of this should hopefully only take 3 years for another bachelors.

I have to accept my financial aid (loans). I'll go down to my bank tomorrow and get my routing number so I can accept it tomorrow and get the money wired. That's not the issue. My issue is will my classes be available once I get my damn letter. This is ridiculous if you ask me. I could register for classes at the main school but the satellite campus is just minutes from my house and my work, which will make my life easier.

Weight is holding around 267lbs even with taking 2 weeks off from conditioning. I'm allowing my body to be fully recovered. Body is feeling really good and I'll be testing next week. Should pull tomorrow and then squat on Sunday.

TEST WAVE
WARM UP WEEK

BENCH DAY

Bench w/ pause~ bar x a lot, 95x10, 135x7, 185x5, 235x3, 265x2, 295x2
All sets were easy as they should be. Workout took very little time.

DEADLIFT DAY

Deadlift (conventional)~ 135x5, 225x5, 315x3, 365x2, 410x2, 465x2
Stance was to narrow. Will bring it out (stance & grip). Bar moved slow and I think it's b/c set up is wrong. Going back to old stance (wider). Will keep working on this b/c deadlift is stumping me for some fvcking reason. Gotta get it back to what it used to be.

SQUAT DAY

Squat~ 145x5, 235x5, 325x3, 385x2, 445x2, 495x1
Squats felt good. Broke out belt on the 495 single. I'll rest and on Wed.... time to test.

Well.... bench and squats felt great but pulls felt like shit. I'm thinking I need to go back to my old set up. A bit wider set up so I feel more open and easily get into position. It's not as wide as you may think but even at 267 I'm not "narrow".

I'll give it my best this next week and then work on it in the coming blocks.

I think next year should be a better year for lifts. I'm back to performing RDL's and front squat pretty regularly. I just gotta get my numbers on these back to where they were and voila... my pulls should go back to where it used to be.

Changed my avatar b/c let's be honest... I'm not an Oly lifter anymore and those days have long since ended.

I may Power Clean again but I'll never Snatch again. My right shoulder couldn't handle that amount of stress.

Weight is sitting still under 270. Weighed in today at 267. For those that don't know, I started this training cycle at 285 and have been slowly dropping to where I'm at now. I have no intention on going any lower.

I hit my test numbers I set on bench today. I was good for more but I've been dealing with some issues and last time I barely hit the 335 so I opted to do my best to crush it this time on my test day. I'm going to deadlift on Friday and then squat on either Sunday or Monday.

All singles paused w/ exception of the 335. 335 was extremely explosive and was good for more which makes me happy. Shoulder felt great.
DEADLIFT DAY
Deadlift (conventional)~ 135x5, 225x5, 315x1, 405x1, 455x1, 495x1, 535x2
The 535 felt good and wasn't as heavy as I could have gone but I was rushed. It was a good confidence builder b/c as most know I've been struggling with my pulls. I widened my stance and my pulls felt A LOT better.

Thanks. They aren't my best numbers but they're building my confidence and solid since my drop. I'm confident with me using my old stance with my pulls, my pulls will get back to where they should be. I'm going to really blast my triceps and shoulders to help build bench.

I'm going to try to test my squats on Sunday but I have a work dinner on Sunday and work has me busy literally all day and night tomorrow. Sat will begin for me at 9am and won't stop till around 11pm.

Didn't get a chance to test my squats b/c a friend of SS and mine ended up in the hospital so I just used 595 since I hit 585 with a loose wrap. I know I could squat more but that's ok b/c I'm going to really push my assisting lifts.

Continuing my SST training.....

Easy week before the training block begins. Won't bother with posting numbers b/c there low and it's just a way to ease my way back into the gym.

Even with the holidays, my weight is holding at 269 which is great. I want to become the leanest version of myself around the 270 mark. I think that's the "smallest" I'm comfortable being and I'll still be able to hit all my PR's that I hit at 285.

Not too shabby on the strength test, BI!!! I know it isn't your best but it is good to see that 535x2 deadlift followed by "felt good and wasn't as heavy as I could have gone but I was rushed". a rushed 535 double is definitely a good indication that what you are doing is working.
