There are some truly terrible takes on why Kamala lost. Bernie Sanders laid into Democrats and he hit the nail on the head while he was trashing the Dems. He said Dems lost because they left the working class. 20% or black men and 45% of Latino men voted for Trump because the economy isn't working for them.

As much as I think Trump is a piece of shit, I sympathize with this view. When it comes down to it, your ability to put food on the table is priority number one.

This is a wake up call for the Dems. They can no longer count on votes from minorities just because of identity. If this Dems are smart (they aren't) they will run a true populist in 2028. By 2028 the myth that Trump cares about working people should have become evident to everyone. Trump will have spent 2024 to 2028 governing like a typical Republican / Bush Jr. / Romney clone. By 2028 most Americans will have realized they were duped by a fake populist Trump and be resentful of having been conned.

Does this guy think that democracy means everyone voted for the same person?

No shit a certain percentage didn’t vote for the winner.

I had a friend like this. Everything was negative, everything was rigged, everything sucks and I should be worried and angry…I stopped talking to her a few weeks ago and life is better now.

Another guy that would be stressful to be around in real life. Speaking of which…back to the real world.
You’re referring to the video producer?
He’s not / was not for either candidate nor party. He’s pro freedom…. actual freedom.

My previous reply timed out on being able to edit. I was going to add that if by expressing “…back to the real world” you meant, back to soap opera establishment politics — that’s not the “real world,” that’s the institutional indoctrination construct of domesticating humanity into farmed cattle ;)

It's already started , i've seen so much bullshit on the youtubez I started blocking channels left and right.

This group let us down ,, this group let us down ,, this groups fault ...

You idiots picked a candidate that won less than 3% of her own state in the run up for the nomination.

Then threw her in with zero democratic process ,, what did you think was going to happen ?

Can't cry foul or rigged or any type of bullshit when you lose by 15 million votes or so.

Ya got spanked n sent home. Deal with it.

I wrote in Romney/Cheney .. I'm no Trump guy but I got my morals n values.
I believe she lost by like 4 million from where it stands today. Not sure where the 15 million number is from

The 15 million was the number of votes that appeared to be how many fewer DEM presidential candidate votes their were than 4 years ago. And it is substantial — about 10 million, but not the 15 initially thought to be.
So far as popular vote totals this time around, I believe Trump received somewhere around 3.5 mil more than Harris’ total.

Isn't that crazy? Is it really true that 10 million people that previously voted in 2020 didn't vote in 2024? I suppose it's possible. I think the more likely conclusion is that the COVID rules that relaxed voter integrity procedures resulted in an extra 10 million votes for Biden in 2020, you know, the fairest election in history. LOL

Yeah I seriously doubt 10mil fewer DEM’s voted. Trump only gained an additional 350-400k votes his way this time over last, so it’s not like many of that 10mil deficit of DEMs turned his direction.

It seems like a low turnout election. Kind of makes sense. These were two deeply unpopular people running. Many Americans probably sat home knowing that it truly didn't matter which corporate shill won.

Ah I gotcha. Haven’t been following all too closely, so haven’t heard that figure of the 15 million
