I guess I was a big unclear. I didn't mean to shoot 3cc's subQ just if a 25g was considered a slin pin.

Not sure if you're being serious or not but I'll bite.
A slin pin is an insulin syringe.
As in the needle and syringe come together.
Usually a 1cc syringe with a pre-attached small gauge needle.
You can use small gauge needles on a 3cc syringe but that wouldn't be considered a slin pin

29 Gauge or 30 Gauge typically considered a slin pin but using a 25 gauge with a 5/8 needle essentially can provide the same results.

@MAYO I’ve never tried a Test shot subq, that’s an interesting thought. Have you given it a try yet?

I have done them with a slin pin IM with no issues. This works well with short esters. I’ve done this with Test Prop for delts and even pec shots. Heat up the oil a bit, and it’ll flow through nice and smooth.

Just to add use 27g slins and not the 29 or 30g because they are much slower to load.

Thx for the reply. I'm not bullshitting you...just that much of a newb. I'm researching pins now and was hoping to buy just one size that I could do subq/IM and maybe more than 1cc per shot....kind of a "do it all" type pin. I was thinking maybe a 25g 1" with a 3cc syringe. Sound reasonable?

No, that’s fine for an IM shot, but too much for a subq shot.

Does anyone have any info on how this affects (if at all) absorption rates? I would give this a whirl with my trt but don't want to fuck up my nice steady levels I got going.

Might ask my Endo about it.

I would only do .5 cc for subq and >1cc for IM. Just wondering if a 25x1" would be a good option or maybe even a 27gX5/8?

I wouldn't use 25g for subQ. I use 25 for IM. Personally I wouldn't go any bigger than 27 for subQ, preferably 29 and no longer than 5/8"
Yes, you can use a longer needle and just not stick it all the way in but that's just too much effort imo when you can just use a 5/8" or 1/2"
