1. Makes 800+ pounds look easy.
2. Deadlifts with hook grip.
3. I think this is without a suit? Correct me if I'm wrong. Looks like a singlet to me, but I'm far from the expert.

It is crazy how strong he is throughout the entire lift. Most people have a sticking point somewhere, but he looks like if he can break it off the ground, it's going to be a good lift. Smooth is right.

Suit or not, thats crazy... Suits don't aid in the deads that much anyway. The hook grip is nuts at that weight. I can't believe he didn't pinch off his thumb!

Breaking 800+ off the ground is pretty tricky and this dude's surely got this lift down to a science. Using the hook grip surely is badass..bet his grip strength is inhuman

Lol, right? It's not often that you see guys deadlifting that heavy with a double overhand grip, whether it's hook or not. Seems like the vast majority of really heavy dl'ers go underhand/overhand.

Tricky? Tricky is figuring out how to get off the mattress after banging your woman without accidentally wiping the juices on your dick and hands off on the sheets. Breaking 800+ off the ground is not tricky, it's fucking amazing.

That was sick and he is wearing a suit, which in my opinion takes nothing away from those amazing lifts that guy is a BEAST!!!!

The guy is a monster.... we've got a top 242-er who pulls low-8's with a hook grip because of a torn bicep..... and a top 275-er who pulls upper 8's.

I'm a mid-700 puller, I've taken 821 to my knees before missing it ( I'm talking about in a meet, gym lifts don't count)..... and it was UNREAL. That's some soul-crushing weight. Very humbling to see someone pull like that. The difference between 7 and 8 is HUGE!

I am more of bench only guy who wants to be a full power guy, but I will have to say the deadlift is probably the best true strength indicator. Gear or no gear. Picking something up from a deadstop and pulling it upwards. Strong.

That was awesome to watch.

The great thing about the hook grip is when you have it locked in place, it's not going anywhere. You can dislocate your thumb though (I've managed to do it). I think why few use it is b/c most aren't willing to get used to it. IMHO hook grip is the best grip to use.

I'd have to say Misha K. has the biggest pull using a hook grip and it is raw. He has a 915lbs conventional pull w/ hook grip.
