Strength during w/k event training on Saturdays,

    Ok ;Athletes...who and how often are you training events?
    We train strength all week then Saturday is events! They change/ rotate every week.
    How many events will you squeeze in a day ?
    Just curious as we typically do 3..
    One week speed and endurance and the next for pure power! HEAVY!!!!!
    Please share your thought and approach. Thanks

    I train twice a week. Implements and regular lifts
    squat and dl variations every week rotate

    I don't train SM but I have a few friends who do and that's how they do it.... events on Sat and their other training during the week.

    Here's how my training week goes.
    Monday legs.. Squats(yolk bar),regular low bar back squats ,stiff leg dead lifts,sled push in reverse like a leg extension.531 %
    Tuesday.. Upper back ,Bi's w/g pull downs ,n/g pull ups,face pulls ,seated rows ,T bar rows or bent rows, odd weeks pull overs alt curls and w/g bar curls
    Wednesday "off" core and grip... Plate weight flips,rolling forearms,weighted planks from a box and bench not the floor. Weighted crunches , kneeling rope crunches
    Thursday .. Pressing varies greatly.. Incline bench ,b/neck press,log press,floor press..rack log press against bands. Dips !!! Skull crushers. Overhead tri extension...event specific closer to contest.
    Friday ... Deadlifts standard531% front squats ,GHR, reverse hypers
    Saturday ... Events always yolk most often speed 450-550 no belt fast as possible .. Once a month or contest prep 650-725
    Circus dumbbell or log, farmers or stones,, some times will throw in big tire flips..3 weeks from contest it will be those events at the contest..weighed planks !
    Sunday ::: sleep, rest,fish,,RIDE!
    I throw a lot of variety in my press days (not listed) as I still maintain bodybuilder type shoulder/physique try to at least .
    That's my week.. Still progressing
