:confused:Why is it when i do stiff leg deadlift, i only feel it in my lower back. Shouldn't I be feeling it in my hamstrings as well? Does this mean im doing it wrong?

It's b/c your lower back is probably the weakest link in the equation. You could try doing them last in your workout after your hams are sufficiently pre-exhausted.

Make sure to keep an arch in your back, don't let it round...

unlock your knees ans give them a slight bend. like what was mentioned above you could have a weak lower back.

I feel them mainly in my lower back also, I have 2 bulging discs so these sometimes kill me, but I like the way they tire out the muscles.

I get the pulling in my hammies though so not sure what your issue is, sorry.

It could be your hammies, glutes, or low back. Could be any or all of them.

I think ultimately it is just part of the exercise bro... but without seeing your form it is hard to say what your real issue is..

It probably has to do with your form. I'm not a big fan of SLDL. I prefer to perform Snatch Grip RDL's instead.

I like to place two plates on the floor and elevate my toes on these so only my heels are on the ground , keep constant tension on the hams and get a good stretch at the bottom but come up 3/4 on the way up not locking out at the top . Try going lighter and think of it as a stretching movement .

Like bos said, slight knee bend weight towards the heels and push your ass back and then work downwards. You should feel it immediately.
