Steroid Bust: Magnolia Texas (outside Houston)

Authorities raided a home Tuesday in Montgomery County during an investigation into the illegal shipment of human growth hormones and anabolic steroids from China.

Deputies armed with a search warrant went to the home in the 9000 block of 9000 block of Water Front Court, Magnolia, according to the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable's Office.

Inside the home, deputies seized about 1,000 tablets and 600 vials of various types of human growth hormones and anabolic steroids.

The investigation is continuing and arrests are expected, deputies said.

ANOTHER case of too much focus on us, and not sure if LE or the media is more to blame. An old school news editor would not have let this oh-so-incomplete story see the light of day till there was more to it.

It's cutthroat competition for readers and ratings in modern "journalism," I do understand why you have to break a story fast to stay up with the other newspapers/tv stations IF it's terrorism, mass shootings, etc, but this one is about a relatively small steroid bust, wtf?

Journalism buzzwords for readers and ratings: steroids, pitbull dog, Trump, Kardashian, Hillary, plus a few others, that's all that matters in a once honorable profession. Story content may or may not be necessary.
