Former UFC fighter, and HOF'r, dead at 45. Read this yesterday, and it's so very sad. I agree with his 1st fight with Forest Griffin being one of the best, and probably most important, fights in the UFC.

RIP, he never got the fame like Forrest but deserved the respect of all MMA fans for the fight they fought which sprung the UFC and MMA from being a fringe spectacle to a real legit sport.

The writing has been on the wall for this one for a while, I “think” what got him was heart issues. But he was addicted to I wanna say pain killers and others prescription drugs. He’s been in a bad way for a while. He was a good dude.
