Did he have the flu? This seasons flu is almost at epidemic levels. It's hit 6.7% of the pop and once it's at 6.9% the CDC will declare it an epidemic. This one is the worst we've had in a long time.
No, I just overate!
I can't believe that info on the flu. That's some crazy shit. I actually don't take the flu shot, nor does anyone in my family. Wifey and I rarely get it and the kids haven't ever. We still vaccinated them as babies and all that shit, so we aren't those people, just never been on that flu shot wave.

If I'm not mistaken the CDC declared it an epidemic today. There have been over 300+ hospitalized and 5 dead in my state alone.

Scrubbed toilets and showers and shit all day yesterday. If I had my Fitbit on I would've hit 30000 steps probably.
Ate well and will post the recipe later: Chicken Pizza Casserole. Steadily losing and fitting into clothes better but my irritability is off the fucking charts. This training log is boring as shit.

Where's yo shit?!
Update...
January 19: 305 lbs
January 20: 302.4 (CarbNite - tried to be modest but couldn't...cookie dough in the house was a bad move!)
January 21: 307 lbs
January 22: 309 lbs
January 23: 307 lbs

January 24:
10 minutes cardio on the treadmill, fast walk - HR up in the 130s

Flat Bench
Bar x 15 x 2
95 x 12
135 x 10,10,8

Incline
95 x 8,8,6

Machine Flies
50 x 12 x 3

Triceps Pushdowns
100 x 15
115 x 15
130 x 15

I was fucking gassed after this and it only took about 20 minutes. It's hard not to become sad over these numbers... I almost didn't get the bar to the rack on the last set of inclines.

Still just going in with the mindset of contraction and short rest periods.

CarbNite, Day 22: 306 lbs

New semester was supposed to be easy but it's turning out to be one of the toughest yet:
Book cover design, magazine cover illustration, Business 201 and History of Communication Arts 2... sleep is starting to suffer.

T-Bar Rows
Bar x 15 x 2
10 x 12
20 x 12
30 x 12
40 x 10

Seated Cable Rows
55 x 10 x 4

Overhead Cable Rows
55 x 12 x 3

Bent Barbell Curls
Bar x 15
20 x 12
30 x 12 x 3

Rear Delt DB Flies
10 x 12
15 x 12 x 3

CarbNite, Day 25: 306.2 lbs

Volume increase felt good. Extremely hard not to up the weights significantly. Every exercise pumped the right muscles except curls - felt my front delts pulling too much.
It’s definitely a mindfuck to not go heavy or to cheat reps but I can feel pumps in certain places in my back I can’t recall feeling before. CarbNite tonight will be pizza and Oreos because yolo.

The only good curl is a squat rack curl.

And Oreos, under any circumstances, is a win.

Flat Bench
Bar x 15 x 2
95 x 12 x 2
115 x 12, 12, 10

Machine Shoulder Presses
50 x 10 x 3

OHP
Bar x 12
55 x 12 x 2

Lateral DB Raises
10 x 12 x 3

Triceps Pulldowns
Dropset til failure, 110 and down

CarbNite, Day 26: 311.4 lbs
CarbNite, Day 27: 306 lbs

I’m very hesitant to pull or squat. Seems like I reach for a drink out the fridge and tweak something lower back related. This will do for now.
I’ll still track the scale for reference but the way clothes are fitting better is more telling...
