Hey guys, i strained my quad about a month ago playing rugby and have been doing light rehab work since. Tonight is the first time squating since i injured it and i was just wondering if anybody had any advice.

I'm gonna go lighter than i was before and see how it feels, thanks.

i think light and good form is going to give you your answer on whether you need more time or whether you can go back to training. although make sure you go back into it slowly taking a month or so to get back to regular weight. my cents worth :D

from a guy that had a TORN quad tendon. training a hurt quad isnt the best idea if it is strained. resting the area is smarter..but i know the frustration of not being able to train legs. one thing if you are going to train...take it easy and only use "pumping" motions to get blood to the area for quicker repair
