I have grown up seeing space vehicles splash down in the ocean and every time it is equally amazing to see. Amazing enough there was a big pod of dolphins swimming around the space craft until they were rescued. In case you missed it:

From the Karman line , where they typically measure the beginnings of our atmosphere is 62 miles above sea level.

OK

Space X crosses that line during reentry at 17,000 mph ....

Talk about a fucking brake check , from 17k to 0 in 62 miles.

I don't think ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN or MSNBC covered this or showed the video. Can't do that because it would make musk look appealing.

What a fucking shame! We watched the whole thing on the SpaceX web site. What a shame the media has turned their back on two American astronauts who went to outer space on behalf of this country and NASA in the name of science. They don't represent a political party yet they are abandoned and no one seems to give a shit. There is not much known about long term space travel and we have no idea what kind of health effects may have been cause to these two people by being left in space for so long. The woman shows signs of aging and has definitely lost a considerable amount of weight. The media turns their backs on two Americans because they hate Elon Musk. The media needs to ask questions as to why NASA had not already gotten this done. Thanks @midevil I had no idea.

They will have 6-8 months of rehab too getting back in gravity shape. Crazy how space will wreak havoc on the body in zero gravity
