I will usually take 1000 mg (two capsules for most brands) the day after a refeed then I adjust from there. Most of the time it is 500 mg for a couple days and that is it. Sometimes when I refeed for an entire weekend, usually around 15,000 calories, I might go a couple days at 1000 mg.

Hell yeah, I’m gonna give that a try. My body loves to retain water naturally. No matter how controlled shit is. I’m looking forward to it. Thanks dude

No problem brother. I have the same issue, I retain water like a camel. It is blessed curse. It is bad for bodybuilding, but it is great in a survival situation.

Had planned on doing a little bit more but I’ve been having a tendinitis flare up in my right arm at the bend of the elbow but on the bicep side. May have to train a little softer for a week, but really trying not to. It’s not even from lifting, it’s from throwing kids around the pool and ocean on vacation lol! Getting a little closer to 240. Was 237.5 on the same scale today. But likely all water!

Man it’s such a pain in the ass. It makes things really hard. I don’t wanna make it worse but I don’t wanna take it easy, it’s hard. Some days the training isn’t even about building muscle, it’s about mental health.

Thats just it tough on the mind to take a step back. Felt same way 4 weeks out from my last meet and a torn hamstring. Everyone telling me to pull out of the meet. I was nope that would be worse. Competed full power anyways and set PR on DL, squat and bench not as well

Good work brother and I like the sauna after training. I prefer the tanning bed, but anything to get a little heat on the muscles after a workout is good.

If you are not using an elbow sleeve, you should get one. I started having issues at the elbow, probably from heavy hammer curls. I bought some Iron Bull sleeves off Amazon, because it was really hurting my lifts and they are cheap. It wasn't just hurting my curls, but pressing and pulling. The sleeves are magic. Once my arm swells up with blood and the sleeve gets tight I can't even feel the elbow pain anymore. Just make sure and take it off every once in a while to the let the blood flow, because the pump in your forearm will get so bad you can't get a proper grip.
