Just wondering if anybody has looked at this or has possibly used it. What are your thoughts. Interesting compound if viable.
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic compound that acts as an estrogen-related receptor (ERR) agonist. It's been studied as a potential treatment for obesity and COVID-19:
Obesity
In mice, SLU-PP-332 can help with metabolic syndrome by increasing energy expenditure, decreasing fat mass, and improving insulin sensitivity. It can also cause obese mice to lose weight by convincing their muscles that they're exercising more than they are.
COVID-19
SLU-PP-332 may help protect vascular endothelium from oxidative stress, which could help prevent damage from SARS-CoV-2 infection. It may also increase the effectiveness of exercise and vaccination in preventing COVID-19.
Exercise mimetic
SLU-PP-332 is an exercise mimetic, which means it provides some of the benefits of exercise without increasing physical activity. In mice, it can help normal-weight mice run 70% longer and 45% further.
SLU-PP-332 targets ERRs, which are proteins that activate metabolic pathways in tissues like the brain, heart, and muscles. It's considered a potent and selective ERR agonist.
