The overhead press has long been one of my favorite lifts, second only to squats but my body just doesn’t want to do it anymore. I have no idea what’s going on with my right elbow. It’s not tendonitis or is it? I was able to somewhat overcome it today by double sleeving and managed some dips.
dips worked up to a few sets of 10. There should be a smile or thumbs up emoji here.

I hear you. I miss overhead pressing but it’s something that being older doesn’t support the shoulder and elbow joints take a beating

still working on the schedule but I believe that Squats will be moved to Tuesdays starting on the 9th. It worked well today. I would still like to have more time and I think I can make that happen in another week.

What kind of rest periods do you rock during these workouts? I wonder what flossing or deep tissue would do for the tendon discomfort… I’m thinking either knots or going too heavy with too short of breaks between agitation maybe? I don’t wanna think it’s just age hahaha because fuck that

Almost everything is done in an antagonist superset style to save time. With the exception of heavy squats. The right shoulder thing is an mis seated bicep tendon so I don’t think flossing will help. The elbow, possibly but it doesn’t feel like tennis elbow, it’s very localized to the inside of the arm. The knees, well that’s going to be age and decades of abuse and the spine is multiple injuries
