I have issues with my right shoulder. It may actually be the biceps tendon or even pec. Either way it hurts and limits my bench. I don’t notice a difference with the slingshot. How are your shoulders? My right is fine, but left has ached for years.
That’s kinda what I was thinking. My shoulder has had a minor, nagging burning sensation for years. I’m not sure what the root cause is, but had doubts of the slingshot doing much. I’m sure it provides some support, when loaded, but much of the shoulder movement/rotation will stay pretty similar. My left elbow joint is crooked and points back and inwards. When I had bad sciatica a couple years ago in my left leg I could not do leg curls at same weight as my right. Like less than half the weight. And it was because, like you said, I couldn’t make the neural connection to my hamstring. Was really strange.02/02/2024
Happy Groundhog Day
My back and sciatic have been bothering me this week so I had low expectations for today.

Dead 250x5 320 there seemed to be no neural connection between lower and upper body when I got under bar. As a result I couldn’t hold it. Not sure what’s going on.
