im not sure what happened but my back flared up yesterday. There was nothing obvious that precipitated it but I writhed around on the couch most of the day. Monday’s ME movement was a low box squat and I planned on skipping it altogether but wanted to work an empty bar a little bit. Tight belt and heavy bracing worked up to a massive 225 single in gym shorts.

Floor press 275. To be fair, my back still messed up. I imagine this looked like a bizarre decline to the untrained outsider.

It’s another ME movement for the bench rotation. I am experimenting to find what carries over to my bench. Having the arms fully on the floor at the bottom prevents any bounce or momentum and it’s do or die because there’s really no way to dump it.

speed bench 135 with red bands tripled 9x3
think I figured out what hurt my back last week. On my first couple sets I noticed that I was flopping around on the bench. Hopefully a little more attention to form fixed that.

warm up back raise pull down abs band ham curls
front squat 135 3x5
rqck pull 305 having trouble with grip so put fat gripz on and worked down to around 170
Ghr with 40lb db
hanging leg rs
