Squat. Worst day in awhile, for that I am grateful. Otherwise shitty. I just couldn't squat anything today. Plan called for 330 3x3, nothing outrageous but it just wasn't there. I tried going over and under but nothing was working. Even 285 felt like a fucking ton. Trying not to over obsess about it but this is definately not a good sign. I really was hoping to hit 365 by year end.

Anyway, some lunges and other accessory shit.

Live to fight another day

Thanks, but I am weak of psyche. When I have days like this I start to question everything. I even said something to the wife about maybe joining a gym.

So, in stark contrast to yesterday, today was a great day, sort of. Too bad math is not my strongest subject.
Started with cleans 3x3 65,95,115,135
Moved on to sumo dead. 135x5, 185x5 205x4 225x3,3 that's where it gets fuzzy. Continued going up with everything moving great, hit 300 no problem, well damn I'm going for 315. Adding up the plates, I realized that I had taken two tens off at some point and mixed up other plates so that 300 was actually 275. Put on 15 that was going to be 315 and now at 290 lost it about knee level.

Final squat of the year. I really hoped to get 365 before 2018, but it remains elusive so I will end with the 350 of a couple months ago.
Today, 345x1 355 left at bottom. 285 5x3
Good mornings 85 3x10

Beginning 2018 I will hammer front squats, good mornings and abs. My hips have come along this year and I think I need to focus on core. Also I intend to improve ankle mobility.
Still have a shot at bench and dead for the year.

Forgot to mention, I got a few goodies for Christmas; bow tie, slingshot and SBd knee sleeves.
