Not for nothing but this probably has to do with the massive increase in child pornography over the past 5 years. That is related to the human trafficking here, wars in Ukraine, human trafficking elsewhere, etc. I heard some stats recently. It's pretty horrifying.

My wife only gets active when she feel threatened. Otherwise there is no sex. I haven't threatened her in a while.

Been getting worse and worse for about 25 years man. Used to hang out with white knight hackers (ethical hackers) throughout the 90's and into the 2000's. Most in a particular Usenet group. I'm not a hacker by a long shot. I have a little more skill than most average computer users but I was considered a script kiddy by those guys. They were mostly professional network and coder guys doing some pedo hunting at night. But I found my way into the group through a friend of a friend. We used to search for and attack the child porn sites in a coordinated way. Find one, hit it and try to take it down. Like I said, I am a shitty nobody compared to the guys in the group. For me it was mostly lending my computers to ICMP or UDP bombing to overwhelm their firewall. Sure, somebody stupid enough to leave their Netbios unguarded and open was an easy target. I let the real hackers go in and do the heavy lifting. But it was fun for me and gave me a sense of purpose!

By the 2010's it was out of control. And it will always remain that way, probably. Unless we allow the government to fingerprint every web user. No more proxies, no more TOR, etc. Even then, pedos are seriously sophisticated technologically. Comes from a lifetime of being paranoid and needing to be on top of tech to stay free. It was like whackamole. Hit one site, one Usenet group, one IRC channel, one whatever and they come back in a different place.

Enter the cell phone. Kids making their own videos and sending them to pedos, friends, boyfriends and girlsfriends using the cameras on their cell phones. Fucking hopeless!

And then parents not paying attention. Some can't they are working two jobs. Kids are vulnerable.

To give the government power to watch us though and control our information is a solution I am not comfortable with. Also, part of me always wondered if the feds COULD take down these sites more easily but didn't. I wonder if the feds like knowing where the pedos are and who they are so they can watch them. A old buddy from the group and I still talk. They tried for years to take down a pedo site. I won't say the name (unless you are seriously curious and PM me) but when the site finally went down it had MILLIONS of users. So I think the government probably sees this in a different light.

Like you said man, Ukraine is a major one. Any disaster, any breakdown of economies or governments leaves more children vulnerable. Then the predators move in.

Thanks for the perspective. I don't understand these people. I am hearing about it more and more and it gets more and more horrific... beyond satanic. The government is in on it or many are compromised. Mayorkas and Becerra at HHS were directly involved in trafficing.
