I need a routine change. I don't like training like females (high reps with lighter weights) but some people seem to think that I'm overtraining. Any ideas?

Not all females train high reps and light weights. Women can use the same routines as men .If your lookinf for power look at a 5x5 routine or 5/3/1 and adjust accordingly per your one rep maxes.
