What a bummer. I enjoyed his fights but I loved when he was on HBO boxing as an analyst. You could hear the love of the sport in his voice and especially for the fighters. He was a huge fan of boxing and he and Ali humanized it.

This Legend didn't die broke and alone. those who are young wont know that this kind smiling sweet old man, was one of the meanest, no nonsense boxers of his time.

In 1999, Salton paid Foreman a reported $137.5 million to acquire the full rights to use his name and likeness in perpetuity. This deal pushed Foreman's total earnings from the grill to an estimated $200 million to $250 million, far surpassing the money he made during his illustrious boxing career.

RIP George

He, Joe Frasier and Mohamed Ali were true gentlemen of the sport. RIP.
