was just wanting to take a little poll and see on average how many reps everyone does per bodypart during their workout. Ive worked out with guys who do 4 exercises at 4 sets of 10-12, guys who do 6 exercises at at 4 sets of 8-10, u name it. personally i switch it up a lot and it depends if im going heavy or for reps. but still was wondering the general consensus here...especially on leg days.

I have done high and low reps. i prefer the 5-6 rep range. I did not like 12 reps at all at any time since i have been lifting. if i am not doing 5-6 it will be either 6-8 or 8-10 depending on the body part.

It's best to work in the rep range that gives you the best results individually. This takes some trial and error. Me... I like the 8-10 range because it gives me my best results. But I also throw in some strength training in the 4-6 rep range just to keep me honest :)

my legs respond better to higher reps. quads that is. 12-15 reps heavy as possible.
