Pretty sure you're thinking of Harvey Milk, monsoon. Where do you think they got the term "homogenized" from?

LOL..Didn’t take long for this to go south. I cut out milk a while back. Still debating about adding it back.

I grew up on a dairy farm drinking our milk raw and fresh from the cooling tank (bulk tank). My brother is a dairy farmer today and he won't let me have any raw milk as he's afraid of someone contaminating his tank or someone claiming they got sick from it. He recently started bottling and selling pasteurized milk right off his farm and he lets me have that when I come visit.

There are real illnesses that can be passed in raw milk from cows to humans, so I wouldn't ever buy raw milk unless I knew the farmer personally and knew they were careful about keeping their herd immunized.

Is there a benefit to raw milk vs. cooler case milk? I don't know where I heard it but for some reason I remember that unprocessed or unpasteurized milk wasn't a good idea.

I buy raw goat milk at $10 a gallon. It takes me about 7 to 10 days to drink it. Taste wise it's just as good as regular milk. I wish it had chunks of cream floating in it.

Slic.
