I just watched it again. I watched it the first time when I was 15 and it really inspired me to lift. I’ve watched it 3-4 more times through the years. Right now it’s on Amazon freevee.

There are some funny parts in the movie but one short scene that’s the funniest is at Lou’s gym when they show this guy who looks like a pudgy Arnold Horshack doing dumbbell curls with 5’s. His expressions are hilarious. Anyway, if you haven’t seen it for a while check it out.

I have it again on Amazon streaming.

Anyway there's a scene where Arnold is showing this blond guy how to pose and he says "little guys always have a tendency to..." and I swear the guy actually shrinks a little.

Wes Brown , I think he ended up opening a gym and coaching. There are few things ive seen mentioning " the little guy from pumping iron " over the years.

I used to train in a gym and they ran that movie Non-Stop 24/7. I have no idea how many times I've seen it but the funny part is no matter what part in the movie it's fun to just sit and watch. Lots of great info

Had the original Book at one time ... the book that led to the movie that maybe led to everything else that's happened since then from boiler room gyms subculture to planet fitness and everything in between.

There was nothing in the Book about how Lou Ferrigno's father seemed to browbeat him a bit, or about the silly sub-plot where Ken Waller stole Mike Katz' good luck tee shirt, but the film reached a larger audience than the Book did, so, here we are ....
