Went to hematologist today for 3 month follow up on secondary polycythemia and told them about a really painful varicose vein that is wrapped around the back of my knee. It's been there forever but has me limping. I sure hope it's not a blood clot. I have an extensive ultrasound scheduled today at 3.
I take k2 nattokinase bromelain baby aspirin and omega 3s to keep blood thin. I think I am having kidney issues to as my creatine is above 2 and BUN is high. I say all this because I used to give a pint of blood every 3 months when hemo got above 55. But it keeps dropping even though I am supplemented well on testosterone.

I had a DVT in my left leg about 10 yrs. ago. After it was cleared with blood thinners veins started growing mostly on the outside of my knee and some on the inside . No pain however they are large and gross looking. You can have them easily removed by having a specialist burn them off internally. When you have a clot the valves in your veins that keep the blood flowing in one direction get damaged so I assume your body grows new ones.

Yes thanks for the feedback. I have had them for years I too had a dvt in the same leg after knee surgery. These veins keep getting worse and my fault for not following up and wearing compression stockings. I did get some very painful ultrasounds done about 5 years ago on the leg but they only wanted to give me saline injections and told no exercise while they were healing. This one bugs me because it is running down my thigh and bundled up behind the knee. Ironically it doesn’t hurt when blasting legs only when walking.

I mention this because of the kidneys and epo. My sustanon is potent as shit cause the sides are insane sex drive etc but just not jumping up my rbcs in the past 6 months like in the last 10 years.

No clot. Appointment coming with a Vascular surgeon vs a snake oil vein clinic ....
