The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of an Island Park man for incidents that occurred during the months of November and December 2014.
Island Park, NY - December 10th, 2014 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of an Island Park man for incidents that occurred during the months of November and December 2014.
According to detectives, the owner of 5 Star Boxing, located at 3199 Lawson Boulevard, Oceanside, Thomas Donovan, 39, of Brighton Road, on numerous occasions, used credit card account numbers from his business clients to make purchases from Home Depots within Nassau and Suffolk County and buying steroids online.
Donovan, who charged in excess of $30,000.00 using others credit card information, was located and arrested outside his home without incident. A search warrant executed on his home recovered an unlicensed defaced handgun and a quantity of steroids.
Donovan is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Identity Theft 1st Degree, two (2) counts of Grand Larceny 4th Degree, Defruad 1st Degree and Identity Theft 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 12/10/2014.
