Guys, for those who don't already know, you need to have one of these. Got it over the holidays (the base model 300 series 5-in-1). Holy cow, this is a must have for those of us trying to not be lard asses. You make your base concoction in one of the 4 pint containers it comes with, you then put the pint container into the freezer for 24 hours. Take it out, spin it on "lite ice cream" mode, take it out, scrap the sides of the pint to get those side areas "into the mix," put it back in on "re-spin" mode. Take it out, and you have creamy ice cream with good macros. Not icy ice milk type crap, but real creamy ice cream that you'd scoop out of a pint with a scooper. I'm not exaggerating.

My first base mix recipe:
200mL of Fairlife Whole milk (could use 2% or skim for lower fat, lower cal macros)
200mL of Almond milk
1.5 scoops of chocolate whey isolate powder
1 tsp of cocoa powder
2 tbsps of stevia

Mix it in the pint container with a hand mixer or just put the lid on and shake it up to mix the ingredients. Based on some YouTube recommendations, I put the mixture with the cap off into the fridge for an hour so so, then put the lid on, and put the pinto into the freezer for 24 hours. Then you can take it out and use the machine to do the mixing.

Cons: the machine is loud. Sounds like an airplane, LOL. So, you can't secretly make ice cream at midnight with nobody noticing.

Here's a link to the product, and to some good YouTube videos that talk about making high protein ice creams.

Thanks I put on 2 lbs just from reading your post. Ha. I didn't have an ice cream maker but used to live making a frozen treat from protein powder casein whey plus milk and flavorings.
May try ^^ above for the occasional sweet treat.

I presently do a whey isolate shake with peanut butter each evening around 9:30pm. It's low carb and provides some good fat to dump the amino acids from the whey into my system over the night.

The Ninja Creami does a decent job mimicing those good macros. The Fairlife milk helps to drop the carbs a little (not as good as water, of course), but when mixed with Almond milk the calories can be kept under 400, which meets my calorie goal for final meal.

And when I say it tastes just like ice cream, I'm telling you, it's like what I'd buy from the grocery store. Not some thing that's cold and "hints" of ice cream. You really feel like you're cheating.

My kid makes them all the time. I don't know what they, but they are good! He says they have great macros, and I trust him.
