hey everyone..so im new to this forum thing but my bf is always on his forum sites so i figured i would try it out too while im just sitting here! well i have been doing different things to try to get into better shape and about 3 weeks ago i found out a diet plan that works best for me but i know i have a lot more to learn and that's where all of you come into play ;) anyways just thought i would introduce myself...so thanks for having me!!!

my bf found this calorie calculator site and put in my weight and age...etc to get the info on how my calories i need to maintain my weight and how many i need to lose weight...so this what it came up with...

per day
137 g carbs 91 g protein 34 g fat

cal per day
551 cal from carbs 367 cal from protein 306 cal from fat

per meal
34.3 g carbs 22.8 g protein 8.5 g fat

cal per meal
137.8 cal from carbs 91.8 cal from protein 76.5 cal from fat

total cal per day 1224

total cal per meal 306.1

so i have been doing this for about 2 and a half weeks now and have already lost 8 lbs so im going to stick with this and see how it works!

Welcome and there is an app for Iphone and its on the internet free called called My Fitness Pal Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com it has a calorie tracker, as a matter of fact it tracks everything from calories, to protein eaten along with weight loss. You put in what you weigh, your target weight, and how many pounds you want to lose a week and it will figure your calories for you and all your vitamins and minerals.
