SHBG has a higher affinity to bind to mast and proviron leaving far more free test. Back in the day guys would add proviron to most cycles as they could run lower doses of T and get the same results with less sides. I do not know why this fell out of favor or maybe guys just don't talk about it anymore.

I got to get me some of that citrus bergamot. I am out. I have red rice yeast but I have found that with policosanol, and citrus bergamot get my total lipids under 200 and the ratio high normal. Unless I do orals then it does not matter. LDL will be high.
Proviron is definitely underrated. Great for controlling estrogen sides too.

Well that sucks. Do you know of or use a product that accomplishes the same as LMNT without citric acid?
I’m uncertain. I buy Redmonds Real Salt (brand) and have a magnesium triple blend I order from Puritan’s Pride vitamins online. For myself, I don’t supplement potassium since I get more than enough from diet alone, and I have a level of CKD (chronic kidney disease) that requires me to limit my potassium level / build up (hyperkalemia), but I recommend the product called ‘NoSalt’ for those wanting a potassium / electrolyte supp.
Redmonds Real Salt, NoSalt, and Magnesium of one’s choice makes for a great daily self fashioned electrolyte blend.

Random question. Does TRT affect you differently depending on if you’re getting on for low total T vs. low free T, or is T, T? Different sides rate, different benefits rate, more or less benefits, etc, etc.

I do not get your question, I am sure there are docs that understand low free T but most are just trying to treat symptoms of low T. Once you are in the preferred TRT zone most say OK all done. Ask your TRT doc about it. For sure you get far less benefit with high SHBG. I try to come off TRT once a year for at least 8 weeks. When I go back on my SHBG has dropped and I feel like a monster! Also I can bank up 4 weeks of extra T.

I had my follow up visit and had a good discussion about my labs and everything. The game plan is multi pronged and to me, it seems like a well balanced approach. I was sent home with the following supps/scrips. 50 mgs Dhea, red yeast rice, vitamin D, some sort of cortisol supplement with B12 and other stuff, and test C twice a week, .3 ML, either sub q or IM, my choice.

We discussed diet and I asked him if Paleo would be a good choice for weight loss and anti inflammatory. He said yes and asked I abstain from dairy for 2 months until my next round of labs. He encouraged a little honey on workout days and then after my next set of labs, he may want to add a quality krill oil or cod lover oil supplement. we discussed cardio and workout. He said do a short HIIT workout after weights and on my non lifting days, do LISS for 45-60 minutes. It’s ok to take Sundays off everything But LISS is acceptable if I want to do so, nothing intense. I currently lift 3-4 days a week, usually early AM fasted.

So that’s the plan. I did my first shot in the Delt With a 25 gauge pin and I’ll be looking for something smaller And shorter. Any recommendations there would be appreciated.

I’m off to the gym in a bit to keep this ball rolling And try and establish good habits. Thanks for everyone’s assistance.

Sounds like your doctor is leagues ahead of most physicians. Well done.

This is what I use from shopmedvet. I draw with the 20's, swap needles, and inject IM with the 27's.
