To be honest, I would not buy a new car no matter what.

Im with you on this but I think it's a matter of budget.
A new car on $36k/year income doesn't make much sense but if you're pulling in good money and your finances are otherwise in order, it's not going to affect much.

I myself compare how much I owe on my house to the cost of a new vehicle and would rather personally put forward the money into the house.

I ended up buying a 2023 stinger gt2.
Paid full price had no choice but happy with my choice. I had a bunch of cash to play with since my totaled car was almost new.

It sounded like you really liked that car.
Congrats! Now take some
Defensive driving courses and try to keep this one out of the salvage yard :)

I was looking at those cars myself. How do you like it? Decent power?

Dodge just announced they are going all electric for their cars in 2023/2024, that includes the Chargers and Challengers, which will not be out for awhile....they have the "Banshee" and other names.

Go Biden!

I’ve have had Mercedes and Audi before and I’d go back to Mercedes in a heart beat. Now because of work I drive either a Nissan and Mazda. I still don’t know how the hell a battery car is going to work for people that live on the road driving.

It sounds like you have quite a history with cars! It's always exciting to explore new car choices. Considering your interest in higher performance vehicles and your past experiences, have you thought about checking out the best states to buy a car?
