Saw the doc on monday, He said he believes i have damaged some nerves in my neck and sprained my shoulder. My neck is getting shooting pains and I am losing the feeling/experiencing weakness in my right arm.

Anyone Experienced Anything like this? :(

Like BI said I have had some nerve impingement which restricts innervation but no damage that Im aware of.
Hopefully the specialist can give you some insights as to what exactly is going on and a plan to get you back on track.

yea , better get on it now, that keeps inflamed and you will get to the point where you other side will loose size .

friend of mine wen't throug that , that sprained shoulder is most likely do to muscle imbalance from the nerves in the neck.

Good that your seeing a specialist cause your regular doc is right he has no damn clue how to go about fixing that.

no fun. 2 years ago I herniated 5 and 6..or 6 and 7 can't remember. I also had a bad case that caused nerve damage. lost size in my left tri / bi / delt and lat. atrophy due to nerve damage is hard to regenerate..if ever.

I went to a chiropractor and his adjustments relieved the pinched nerve and eventually some nerve endings refired...but the size was permanently effected.

Don't wait to long like I did. tingling fingers / numb hand / painful arm are all indications that you have nerve damage.

I also should mention that spine degeneration and an old neck injury was the cause. Tweaked when doing straight bar overhead press (loved them) but no longer use straight bar...only db's.

Thankyou for all the reply's

I have stopped all lifting and even cardio. When I am doing cardio Both arms and hands are tingling real bad Like im on GH (which Im not). I'm not in as much pain throughout the day but when I wake up I am in agony and have to dash for some Ice.

I have an xray in a couple of hours and possibly booking an Mri. Not sure how much longer I can stay out of the gym, I'm going to end up killing someone soon

i hope that it turns out to be nothing to big and they can fix it with something easy! the neck is one of the most arthritic locations in the vertebra because we turn it and sleep on it wrong and get hit in the head etc etc etc. hopefully they will just be able to inject a few facets and relieve the inflammation!

Bro that sounds ALOT like a friend of mine who's neck was broken and he didnt know it.
His hands actually locked up on him while working one day. Sounds like you have major nerve impingement that doing certain exercises is exacerbating.
In your case it could be as simple as a neck adjustment from a chiropracter, definitely sounds like whatever it is has a negative effect on nerve innervation.
Good luck.
