Hey guys I’ve been body building for 5 years but struggle with shredding and hitting my macros accurately. I feel like this has prevented me from removing lower chest fat and lower stomach fat which makes it look like loose skin. It looks bizzare but I ended up gaining weight due to lack of motivation. I can get back to that weight but I don’t know if I need surgery or if I need to really focus on my diet more to get rid of my insecurities. Hope this post is allowed in this sub. I just need help. Thanks

I would consult a knowledgeable physician, but I believe some surgery would be in order to clear up your "breast issue" for lack of better term.
You must have lost a TON of weight congrats on that and don't give up.

I agree with Littleguy. You've obviously worked your butt off transforming so congratulations there bro!! Huge praise. But that skin doesn't appear it will absorb so your best bet is to consult a physician that will listen to you. Good luck and keep kicking ass bro!

The nipple is where plastic surgeons really seem to screw things up. I wish I knew a solid recommendation for a surgeon. Been on my list of things to get done for years, but recovery is long.

Great job on the transformation so far! I agree with the others, this is something I think only a good surgeon can fix.

The only other thing I can offer for advice is if your insurance is being a pain in the ass over paying for it, as it being an "elective surgery", you really need to play how it impacts your mental health.

Thanks guys. I’m definitely trying my hardest. I was 312 before I started my journey. Here I am at 180. I’ve gained weight back up to 230 (not exactly healthy due to depression). I’m back on it again. But you think if I go all the way with shredding. You think it can go away without seeing a surgeon? I will still go see one just in case.

I know with even my loss of 40 pounds, it's too much without surgery. Maybe if I was younger, it could firm up? But at 50, it's just too much crepe skin on my stomach but especially lower back. I actually have a mini-abdominoplasty scheduled for April.

Tell me about it. But also, good luck! I hope the operation goes well my friend!

From what I hear make sure it’s a plastic surgeon that does the operation. A tumor specialist is just gonna remove the extra tissue and not care about how it looks. Definitely emphasize what @genetic freak said that it is causing depression or mental health problems.
