Nice work. Not sure how I would feel on 848 calories. I have that many by my second meal and still have 5-6 more to go.
That’s not typical at all for me. It was a protein fast for a specific reason. I just also happen to be in a cut, so it works out.

typically, even in a cut, I’m at 2500 calories.

yesterday, I hit just over 2700. I just get bored posting my calories and macros. I also don’t always track them day in day out for years on end. I tend to track to monitor how my habits that I adjust depending on goals is actually putting my ball park where I should, and as long as I’m getting my results I want, I leave it alone. After a few weeks I stop tracking until I have a reason to again.

obviously this would be totally different if I had a specific goal to hit in a specific time, but since this is just me living life on a cut with no strict timeline, it is what it is until it doesn’t work. Only thing I do is keep a mental note in my head of protein everyday.

That being said, I actually feel better eating nothing at all in a day rather than 800 some odd calories. But I had a specific reason for it.

Counting my macros is easy. I eat the exact same thing every day except for dinner and have for 3 years now. During a cut I have 6 meals, maintenance 7 meals and growing is 8 meals. Dinner is pretty much a rotation of around 6 different meals, but they all have similar macros.

I will have a cheat day or cheat weekend every once in a while. I try and hit 7000 calories a day on cheat days and weekends.

I also eat very similar, not the same everyday, but the same rotation of stuff. That’s kinda why I don’t count once I know where I am. It’s the same give or take enough to not matter, unless, I’m not getting the results I expect.

id also say bfast and lunch are very much similar day to day, and dinner is the bigger wild card.

That being said, if I feel I’m letting stuff slip in from time to time, then I track to see where I am. Not to yet change. Then plan accordingly.

My cheats are no where near 7k calories haha. More like 5. In a bulk; I tend to work up to 4-4500 calories Dailey before my gut becomes not happy. I’m also not near as big as you, so don’t need as much haha. Much more Dailey, and I just get fatter.

Yeah, I don't do them often. Probably once a month normally. When I am actually cutting, it is more of judgment call. If I stall out, it is usually a good time to have a cheat. I haven't had a cheat since Christmas, so I am due, but I haven't pulled the trigger, because I am like the way things have been progressing.

Agreed, Thats some low calories. I do a lot of my training fasting, but I am not in a calorie deficit from the previous day.

Log looks great. Good job.

like I said above, that’s not typical for me calories wise.

I use to do a lot of fasted training when I worked out in the AM. But with scheduling changes and life, past few years I’ve lifted in the evening. But typically I don’t eat still a few hours before lifting. Breakfast and later lunch, then 3-4 hours later lift. Then a smallish dinner so I don’t have too much on my stomach before bed. I don’t sleep well with too much food. Too much food on my stomach makes me not do so well lifting either.

Hard to mess with a good thing when it’s working. I get that completely.

for me
Personally, sometimes when things are not going my way, a good cheat helps me out. I’m a cut at least.

the opposite is true in a bulk for me. Sometimes a few low calorie days help me out in a bulk.

I was taking pics for an update, phone died during it. Wasn’t about to redo it later. I will at another point. Only got a back pic. I store the last bits of fat in my love handles. About 15 lbs lost would take care of that. The weighted pull ups and heavy deadlifts seem to be working well. My entire posture chain is not proportional to my front side as far as bigger. I gotta work on that. I’m gonna lower back volume and work on “the beach muscles” more. But this is again unpumped, not ideal lighting at all (from my camper) I try to just keep it constantly that way. Good lighting and other than my love handles, my back looks pretty good. Now for that chest work haha.

Deadlifting 405 lbs for 12 is pretty damn awesome! Shows you have a good muscle endurance when the weights get heavy. Not a lot of guys have that.
